Saying thanks for a great year
Every year Escape Technology hosts a Christmas networking event to say thank you to customers and suppliers alike. It's the one time so many artists, technicians, engineers, and senior decision-makers from the world of VFX come together with us to celebrate the year that was.
These events are always slightly ticky. They're simple, but in their simplicity a single mistake can become very apparent.
I aim to host them in locations that have a bit of an impact, and this year Escape's marketing team chose to use Graphic Bar in Golden Square.
To brand the space I designed a look that would complement the painfully hipster location. The front window was adorned with a deer and the logos of sponsors. Inside, fairy lights in the windows created a cool snowy look, while coloured bulbs in the ceiling lights gave a warm, Christmassy glow. Most of the tables were removed, leaving only the in-house Chesterfield sofas to create cosy seating areas. One the brick wall at the back we projected customer showreels - showing off the work done by the people Escape Technology supports.
Naturally, food and drinks were provided and Graphic Bar was great with preparing a well-rounded menu from which I chose a number of dishes. Welcome drinks were prosecco and three different cocktails served in paint tins branded with our Christmas design and partner logos.
Once again our incredible photographer, Owen Benson, travelled down from Bath to document the event. Check out some of his shots below.
In all, the event was a great success. With customers old and new joining in the revellry it was a thoroughly enjoyable affair.
